What are your least favorite baby names?

The ones you hear over and over again. The ones that make you cringe and think "poor kid." The ones you wish were never invented. Or at least just don't like.

What are your least favorite baby names?
bananano - that sound touching, and I wish I were like that, but that's just not me

I don't really like the names Albert and Alberta. Although I've never met anyone with those names.

I wouldn't really think 'poor kid', I mean, a name is basically only what you go by, it doesn't define your personality or anything.
Reply:my name is ashley....at least once a day i am in a situation where someone says "hey ashley" and at least three heads turn....gets a little irritating...

ive never been fond of the name Mckayla or however you want to spell it. i just dont like the way it sounds....

im also getting a little annoyed with the name hunter....partially because it reminds me of a guy i went to school with that i was never fond of, and partially because it just doesnt quite sound like an actuall name to me.
Reply:conrad markus brandy kelly and all the stupid african names black people name their children like moodeshu how lame.
Reply:I find each and every name special and enjoyable as the person with whom the name belongs.
Reply:Turlock
Reply:Any name that starts with La! And famous people that name the kid Coco or Apple or Phineas or what ever Julia Roberts named her kid!
Reply:it doesn't make me cringe..... i actually think it's really cute.....but i know hundreds of girl babies who are named emma.
Reply:"LaQuiesha"

"LaTifa"

"LaTrece"

Anything made up like that.

Brittney, Jennifer, Tiffany, Mellissa, etc. too popular names.
Reply:Jack. No offence to any Jack's that come here but I think it's a horrible name to give a kid. The kid could get called Jackass or something.
Reply:Porsche, Mercedes anything that is usually associated with a brand- no matter how it's spelt.
Reply:the "unique" spellers. I understand wanting to make a general name a little unique, but there is a line!!! don't cross it!

Odyssy= Audyscie, I swear, I can't make it up

Ashlan= Aisling I had no comment

So many more, especially normal names that get hyped-up in their spelling.

Poor kids! They have to go through years of teachers/friends/collegues butchering their name because of "creative" spelling.

Sorry if I have offended any "creative" spellers out there. My daughter has a unique name, but it is simple!!!

And some names just aren't for kids. Like, Agatha, Edith, you know the names that only grandma's have. LOL
