Okay, I'm not pregnant or anything, I just want to know what everyone thinks of these names. You're not going to hurt my feelings by not liking them, but don't be a jerk about them.
In no particular order..
Parker Elizabeth
Amelia Kate
Aimee Carrina
Sophia Lorraine
Emilie Lydia
Lucas James
Keegan Tyler or Taylor
Ryan Zachary
Cedric Mitchell
Henry Jacob
Thanks In Advance
What do you guys think of these baby names?
I like Parker for a girl. Not crazy about any of the guys names.
Reply:I like Parker for a boy. I do not really like Emilie Lydia. It does not really flow that easily. I like the boys, except I would switch Henry Jacob to Jacob Henry (what I was going to name my youngest son). Other than that, I like them.
Reply:I think any name you choose from this list is fine (although I don't personally care for Cedric Mitchell). The important thing to me would be the impact the name might have on the child. Some movie stars name their kids ridiculous names but they have money and won't have to worry about getting along in the world.
Your child's future can be influenced greatly by the name you choose. It begins in grade school (Hey Apple, were your parents Bananas?=taunting)and follows them through life (President Chastity=nothing commanding about that name). Don't get exotic and you are fine. (I added this little diatribe, not for you, but for others who read this and might think it is cute to name their kid something exotic).
Reply:how about these names??
emilie elizabeth
ryan jacob
good luck and congrats!!
Reply:I dont like any of the girls names but for the boys I like Keegan Tyler
Reply:parker sounds like a boys name, but i like ryan zachary and amelia kate
Reply:These seem like the kids will have the least teasing %26amp; their coworkers %26amp; bosses would be able to pronounce them:
Amelia Kate
Amelia Carrina
Sophia Lorraine
Emilie Lydia
Lucas James
Ryan Zachary
Cedric Mitchell
Henry Jacob
Reply:How about James Zachary or Carrina Lorraine?
Reply:Some of the names are nice, but the I don't like the way u spelled some of them.
My favorites r Sophia and Tyler.
Reply:dont like parker... a little too trendy. but i love aimee, sophia and emilie lydia. lydia is my daughter's name =) also love lucas, (that would have been lydia's name if she were a boy) and i also like ryan. thats my boyfriend's name
Reply:I love planning out baby names so it makes me smile to someone else doing it. I don't like Parker for a girl, and Amelia is hard to pronounce and she might go through half her life struggling to say it. I love Sophia and might suggest a different spelling for Lorraine: LoRayne. It's my sisters middle name and she is so proud of it. Emilie and Lydia are both cute names but I don't think they flow together to well. I am a fan of all the boy's names except Cedric and Henry (unless Henry is a family name then it's fine). I like Sophia LoRayne best for girls and Keegan Tyler for boys.
Reply:LOVE Sophia and Lucas. Henry sounds like an old man's name and Keegan makes me think of that Kegel muscle that they tell you to squeeze while you are pregnant. Cedric would grow on me and i always liked the name Ryan. Parker is kinda cool, but sounds like a rich spoiled kid a little but not as bad as the name "Preston" :)
Reply:Parker Elizabeth is cute
Amelia Kate is okay,
Aimee Carrina is nms
Sophia Lorraine is darling
Emillie Lydia doesn't flow well
Lucas James is nms
Keegan Tyler is adorable
Ryan is really common, but Zachary is cool
Cedric Mitchell reminds me of the circus
Henry Jacob is cute.

Are babies names getting worst?
Yes, I absolutely agree with you. When you start to think about the hundreds of traditional and dare I say, 'common' names out there, you wonder why people are choosing names for their children that are so 'out there'.
Maybe some people are looking for a name that no one else would choose.
Reply:This year's most popular boy's name in the UK is Mohammed. It's in the news today.
Reply:Our first child was born in 1974 and we called him Benedict Eliot. Second was Hannah Lydia. Next one was Cameron Dominic Ramsay.
Recently two younger friends of ours had their first baby and they called her Meadow.
So - I think the names we chose were quite civilised! Somebody at work told me today that friends of hers had had a baby son, and his surname is Kerr, and they had actually called him Wan.
Reply:i think people are just making up names these days whatever they like sure look at the celebrities =apple ? ...x
Reply:I think that what ever you wan tot name your kids is fine!! Why does everybody have such a problem with names these days??? You can pick out your own kids names and have a Jane and a Joe if that's what you want. Frankly I went to school with too many Sarah and Jasons!!! That's why my kids are named Brenton and Easton!!
Reply:hahahaha!!! everyone is trying so hard to come up with something unique that the babies are going to get made fun of in the future. most of the names arent even cute. oh well whatcha gonna do right?!
Reply:lol, I'm fond of dumpster and rutabaga
I know people named Dawnya and Larissa
Reply:yes they are i read today mohammed is going to be the top name at the end of the year how sick
Reply:yes they are getting worse..
my new neice is called Tamisha...poor kid.. but its her parents choice.....
should have called her frogmella/waynetta....or something??
Reply:I agree with you! Also, theres Apple, Rain etc.
When I have children, they will have 'normal' names. I like Vanessa. I don't want to invent names. I would hate to be called something strange.
Reply:no the names are not getting worse but the parents choosing them are
Reply:Meaningful names are quietly going out because some people likes to give their children names that sounds sweet without and meaning attached to it.
How can someone name his or her child stone, snake, tiger and all those animal names.
Can we give animals human names instead of giving human animal names. I think people should be interested in names that have a meaning and then inspire their wards to action positively.
Reply:The Celebs don't set much of an example do they?
How about the Beckham kids?
Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz.
Not to mention Ginger Spices daughter,
Bluebell (when i was a kid that was the name of a cow)
Frank Lampards daughter is called Luna Lampard.
I once heard of a couple that called their daughter ASDAH (phonetic for ASDA)
What next? BMW? Plasma TV?
Poor kids....
Reply:Spelling and grammar definitely is
Reply:You mean 'worse' and 'their'....yes I agree, how selfish can parents be to inflict names like that on innocent babies? What's wrong with David and Margaret??
Feminists now give boys' names to girls..eg George, Tony.
When will we see "Boy named Sue" become a reality?...Not far off at this rate.
Reply:you are so right. it is getting worse. the excuse parents use is that they are looking for unique one of a kind names for their kids. its more like always the kid with the name to be teased instead of unique.
Reply:definitely! I was reading all the names for the beautiful baby competition in my local paper %26amp; it seems that people have exhausted all the 'unusual' names so have resorted to making them up. also why don't people think about the initials they are giving their kids and how they match their surnames. one kid was called Ava Sheppard (what? and a couple of sheep?)
Reply:A child in Scotland has been named by her naive parents
Chlamydia
because they thought it was pretty sounding. My question is why did the registrar not ask the parents if they knew it was a sexually transmitted disease? Or refuse to register the child with that name.
By the way in case you think I am, I am not joking I am deadly serious.
Why is the fact that Mohammed is the top boys name a problem? Do you just not like it or are you being racist? 'cos that just not on.
Reply:levi's already a name of a friend of mine. infact its a name thats ran in his family for many years. anyway, i think its just a fad...all the old traditional names are coming back. or traditional names that are double barreled. like my daughter. Lilly-Ann. named Lilly...cuz i liked it, and Ann as when i fell pregnant her fathers Aunt Ann died, and the minute i found out i said that if its a girl i'd hav "ann" in her name sumwhere...kinda like im perminatly remembering her, feels alot like i carried n gav birth 2 Dans aunt in many ways
Reply:I guess it`s your choice what to call your own children. I live in Japan and will be giving my kids Japanese names.
I do hope no poor kid gets stuck with something like "plastic bag" though! lol
Reply:Well we have the freedom to name our children what we want.
Some are sad.
Like a guy I know named his child "Abcde" pronounced (Ab-city)
And Espn - Pronounced Espen.
Dont ask me.
Reply:patel is very bloody popular on ever street corner they are....
Reply:Yes really bad, I may be of mixed race, but my god! Tthey are changing with the UK ethnic majority!
Reply:People laugh at my daughter's name , which personally I like very much. It's Tyanna pronounced Tiana, it means princess.
With unusual names I blame Jerry Springer for ab lot of them, have you heard the names of guests on his show.
Reply:parents should think about the torment their kids will endure by having such stupid names.
Reply:I think you are right. So many parents are selfish enough to choose names that are accessories for themselves and don't care about the consequences for their children!!!
All my children have names that are cute for them as children...but are mature for them as adults. It doesn't take much thought...but it does take the ability to think about someone other than yourself!!!!!!!
ADDED:
I see the racists have to get in on this too!!!!!
Reply:i read in a newspaper last year sometime of someone callin their kid Ikea.
Think i might call mine Tesco? Sainsbury? OOOoH, I got it, I'm gonna have a baby boy and call him Mark Spencer (surname)!!!!
And call my daughter Laura Ashley (surname).
By Jove thats it, I'm glad |I came on this website now!
Reply:I agree with you 100%! Thats why I named my son Robert Lee, and my soon to me daughter is Makenzie Lynn. I know Makenzie may seem a little out there, but its better than most of the ones my hubby thought of! I mean come on Temperance? Kihana? He even suggested Patience, i think it was to remind me to be patient everyday lol.
Reply:People pick names for their kids which they think are unique and lovely and cute for their little babies. But they forget that these babies have to grow up, become adults and get jobs!

I'm so glad my mom named me Olivia.
Do you ever hear people talking about baby names, and feel sorry for their kids?
OMG yeah... I know that some people like their children's names to have some originality to it. but there has got to be a line sometimes between what is unique and cute to what is cruel.
I heard somewhere that there was this guy who named his son a 47 letter first name with most of which were consonants.

I'm Hungarian and we're usually considered to have weird names compared to others (I don't think any of you can pronounce Gy枚rgy, which is one of the most common names here - it's a form of George btw), but I've never heard of Szaniszl贸 before. Such a ridiculous name.... Poor little guy.

This woman I work with is naming her daughter "Sorsha" in February after the evil princess in Willow (the movie with the little people from the 80s).
Yeah.....
Her other 2 kids are named Aeris (after a Final Fantasy character) and Braden d'James (she didn't want his initials to be DJ).
hmmmmmmmm
Reply:Yeah. I mean, I think it's nice to put some thought into your kids' names and be a little creative, but come on....whenever I wonder about a name, I picture the child in 1st grade and decide if 1) their teachers will be able to read it from a role and pronounce it, 2) that people will know whether they are a boy or a girl without needing to see a picture, and 3) whether or not the kids at school will make fun of them for their name/whether or not their name rhymes with anything (like Cooper rhymes with Pooper, etc).
And just as a little rant, I am so frustrated by the guys on here that always puts up questions like, "What do you think of the name Perineum?" "What do you think of the name Uterus?" "What do you think of the name Placenta?" It drives me bonkers.
Sorry, done ranting. :-)
Reply:yes, all the time. My friend is naming her child, Hazen :( which i am not too fond of.

No lie..
so sad.
Reply:Oh yeah! I'm so tempted sometimes to tell them the truth (and 9 times out of 10 I do) but you know they are going to name their child what THEY want...
Reply:Yeah. I think it's okay to be creative, but your name is so important in life-it is the sweetest sound you weill hear. Some people do not stop to think about the damage they are doing with some of those made up names-they sound ludicrous and go too far. Plus if they get too "cute", they may not be taken seriusly. Avoid the overly earth names or the made up sort, fols, PLEASE., do it for you child's future.
Reply:LOL! Oh, yes.
Reply:Yes I do! i am so glad my parents had good taste in names!
I really feel sorry for the kids who get random apostrophes and hyphens in their name. So unnecessary!
Oh, and those family theme names. I know a couple with quads named:
boy- Hunter
boy- Trapper
boy- Fisher
girl- Scout
Poor kids!
Reply:omg Butter haha that souns like butterz haha
ye my parents named my brother sam paul- cos it sounds like sample LOL :l
i'm lucky my name's georgina mary
Reply:Yes and No because we all have the right to name our children what we like. And even with a normal sounding name you might have someone to tell you that they hate the name. But I have about two friends that just had babies and one friend who have twins on the way ( Isadora %26amp; Imogene) and I don't really like those names but it's her children. My mother was going to name me Amelia but everyone told her that it was too old-fashioned ( I was born early 70's ) and I ended up with a name that I will not share with anyone.
Reply:Yes... I like the original names people come up with but some of the old fashioned ones I've heard are HORRIBLE!
My cousin's kids are named Angus (the fourth) and Beatrice.... Ugh
Although far out names like apple or moses are just bad!
Reply:Yes, I do. I generally keep my opinions to myself though..... unless they ask the dreaded question, "What do you think? Do you like it?" Then I'm forced to tell the truth. lol I know a woman who named her son "Butter". That's his LEGAL name. Its..... sad.

There was some guy last night going on about the name Pearblossom. Absolutely Terrible.
Reply:Oh my god, I feel the same way. My kids are named Kayla, Olivia and Danny. I'm glad the drugs didn't get to me during the birth/c-section. Seriously, one time in the store I heard a mom yell, "Ryder! Jadalyn! Get back here!" They were both girls.! One of my friends from college named her daughter Princess. Eeeee!

Cherry is a fruit
Chrysanthemum is a flower
Lexus-Kia is 2 Types of cars

Its..... sad.
Reply:On here... yes.. all the time! Thank god my name is Stephanie.. it may be been pretty popular back in the 80s but at least it was normal.

Reply:Yes! Many people think of "baby names" that sound cute. They don't think about what the name will sound like when the baby GROWS UP!
Reply:usually they give their babys strange names because they want their child to stand out and not just be another sue or bob or olivia.....what u dont like another may love.........
Reply:Oh Yeah.
Eeeee!
Reply:I know i've heard "Archer, Cherry, come here!, No Chrysanthemum don't touch Lexus-Kia"
Archer is an occupation
Cherry is a fruit
Chrysanthemum is a flower
Lexus-Kia is 2 Types of cars

What are popular baby names in argentina?
I want to know what are some baby names that come from the Country of Argentina because I would like my baby to have a spanish name that comes from Argentina.
What are popular baby names in argentina?
male: Pablo, Mart铆n, Lucas, Valent铆n, Agust铆n (my fav), Ignacio, Juan Ignacio, Emanuel, Mariano, Gonzalo, Sebasti谩n, Cristian, Guido, Nicol谩s, Emiliano
female: Sof铆a (my fav), Constanza, Carla, Paula, Paulina, Valentina, Agustina, Laura, Luc铆a, Luciana, Ana, Carolina, Mercedes, Delfina (another fav), Clara, Melina, Bel茅n
Reply:selena after the famouse mexican singer or natasha lola liana nikia lilyuqalonia
Reply:Valeria, Nicole, Carolina, Valentina, Ingrid, Tatiana, Isabel.
Reply:Anyone starting with big" this", or "big that". They think they are the masters of the universe. Yesterday I read a couple jokes about them. It麓s true, though. Why in Argentina pregnancy takes only 7 months? Because argentinian moms can麓t stand them fore more than that. The last one, I promise: Why do argentinians get out of their houses when it starts to lightining? Because they think God is taking flash-photography of them.

Are there any baby names books like this?
I remember seeing in a "Parenting" magazine article years ago something about a book of baby names. The unusual thing about it was that it was like a book where the author had done surveys about each name and had people tell them what they thought about that name, what kind of personality would go along with it, etc. I would check my local library, but I don't remember the title and they have HUNDREDS of baby names books. Can anyone help with this? Thanks.
Are there any baby names books like this?
Yes, the "Baby Name Survey Book" by Bruce Lansky is probably it. I bought it under its previous title, "Baby Name Personality Survey" and thought it was spot on for most of the names. I would assume with this update that it has improved its accuracy even more -- though I notice that it's still a 1998 book, so it's almost ten years old now, which means that the survey data is going to be even older than that. Times change. I met a little girl named Ursula the other day. She's not Swedish, either.
Here's a link to the book: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0...
Good luck!
Reply:YES! They carry it at Barnes and Noble. I've looked at it. It's called the Baby Name Survey Book. It's fun to see what everyone thinks of your names. If you don't have a barnes and noble around, check another big bookstore like Borders or something. Good luck!

Are Twilight names popular for babies now?
Like Edward, Bella etc?
Are Twilight names popular for babies now?
Isabella has been ranked #11 or above since 2003, before the Twilight books came out. Bella on it's own has been in the top 400 names since 2003
Edward has actually declined in popularity since the Twilight books. It used to be a Top 100 boys name from the 1880s - 1990s and has dropped out of the Top 100 after 2003, and was ranked #145 last year
Until the movie came out I had never heard of Twilight. I think most people who read these books are teens, who shouldn't be having babies in the first place.
Reply:lol ugh I feel sorry for the kid who gets stuck with a Twilight name (I don't know if you've read the last book, so sorry if this spoils it for you, but can you imagine Renesmee catching on as a popular name?! hahaha).
I think a lot of names in Twilight were becoming popular anyway before the books, because a lot of them are old-fashioned and that's so the 'it' thing right now (Edward, Esme, Isabella especially, Jasper).
I don't think the Twilight series is classic enough though to actually justify parents naming their kids after them (I'd consider Harry Potter to be enough of a cultural icon to do so, but not Twilight)... unless their parents are like fourteen and Twilight is as much as they've ever read in their lives.
Reply:Edward, Bella, Alice, and the other human names (Mike, Jessica, Tyler...) have always been common. The other names like Emmet, Esme, Carlisle, Rosalie, and Jasper aren't very popular names for kids even now. The werewolves' names are still common. Jacob is actually one of the top names. Sam, Seth, Leah, Jared, and Paul are all common. Embry and Quil aren't very popular. I am not sure many of the targeted audience for Twilight would not be having kids now, but the names might be more popular sooner!
Reply:I don't think they are twilight names persay they are all very old fashioned names which is a trend on its own right now, and for moms who have read the book sometimes may go oh I really like that name. I named my son Emmett but it wasn't after the character it was because I love the name, I considered Jasper as well. Aside from Renesmee most of the names were already popular or known significantly before the release of the books/movie
Reply:Some of them have always been popular (ex. Edward) but, I certainly think some of these names are going to be more popular.
What people need to understand, it's not just teens but, it's also adults who are obsessed with the books. SO there are certainly people out there who would or maybe even have named their child after one of the Twilight characters.
Reply:Isabella is one of the most popular girls names in this day America and Edward has been much more popular before as in my family but you do still see a few of them as kids around now Rosalie, and Jasper are not as popular now but Alice was popular a long time ago but with Eric, Michael, and Jessica those are popular.
Reply:Bella was very, very popular a couple years ago, but became over-used, but of course, it's still a beautiful name.
Edward will always be classic, traditional. I think it's a little old-fashioned for current times, but if used because of a special meaning (grandfathers name), then I wouldn't worry about it.
Reply:They are but I think even though the books are amazing its a bit obsessive to name your child after them...
,,,unless you just really like the names and feel inspired.
Hope I Helped :)

What do you think about these baby names?
My friend is thinking about naming her baby girl Ki'ahlee Stroud ("poet from the beautiful place in the thicket"). and I'm thinking about naming my little girl Anjerone Morana.("goddess of winter, silence and death")
I also thought about Sigh Yoran (she sings with gentle breath) and Ze'eva Sigh (a wolfs panting breath) .
Tell me what you think of these choices, if you have any exotic examples please let me know.
What do you think about these baby names?
Anjerone Morana is the best one
Reply:To tell you the truth i can't pronounce a single one of the names on the list, except Sigh. I don't know if i personally like any of them, but that is because i can not say them. Good luck.

Otherwise, PLEASE reconsider. The meanings of these names are beautiful, don't get me wrong. But the spelling and pronunciation of the names will give your kids trouble for their ENTIRE lives. I know you mean well for your kids, and I know you're going to think I'm boring, but I just never agreed with the idea of parents giving their kids names that no one will ever pronounce right without being corrected, no one will ever spell right without being corrected, and no one can tell if it's a male or female whose name they're calling or looking at. And finally, let's not forget that names like these will inevitably result in other kids teasing your kids. I was not a teaser, but I know how cruel some kids can be, because I was teased myself! Not for my name, but for other reasons.
Anyway, I think I've said way more than my 2 cents' worth, so I will be done now. :) I think I've made my point loud and clear.

If you live in the united states, you might want to be a little more considerate of your daughters' futures, and name them something that isn't hard to pronounce or spell. They will hate their names because government offices and teachers for the next 20 years will need help spelling it and pronouncing it.
Why would you want to name your daughter after "death"?
Any word that starts with "mor" is associated with either death or the color dark brown.
What ever happened to "Ann"?

What do you think of Weird Baby Names?
Is it just me or do people on here try to find the weirdest, most annoying baby names just to be different? I just don't understand it.
What do you think of Weird Baby Names?
I think they are weird
Reply:As a rule, I am a fan of traditional names. Parents who give their children strange names are setting their children up for a really rough time once they hit school age. Even taking a traditional name and giving it some insane way of spelling it will cause potential problems as the child spends her life telling people, "that's CYNTHIA, except it's spelled S-I-N-T-H-I-A."
Both of my daughters have very traditional names that lend themselves well to nicknames and if either one ends up on the Supreme Court or perhaps as president, they can be called by their first names or even the nicknames.
I know that every parent wants their child to be unique and different, but saddling them with a whackadoodle name is not the way to start that child off.
Reply:I think there are a lot of teenagers who think it's cute to spell everything with a Y or come up with a "unique" spelling
I don't think a lot of parents even realize that there are plenty of studies showing children with odd names get worse grades and are over-represented among emotionally disturbed children. They are also less likely to graduate from high school, and prospective employers are less likely to interview a candidate who has an unusual name on their resume.
Reply:I have seen some weird ones on here too. I have asked about a few of the names that I like and I get bashed for the spellings. But I am spelling it to match the end of my name for a little girl because that is what my husband wants. We are naming our little girl Ryleigh Anne and I have been told that I need to spell it Riley.
Reply:I love them! I do also like traditional names though. My children's names are; Emaeva "Maeve" Grace (eh MAY vah), Adelina "Addy" Rose (ah deh LEEN ah), and Sebastian "Sebby" Malachi (seh BASH chuhn). We are planning to adopt another set of boy/girl twins, in China. They were born the day after my biological daughter Emaeva (Oct. 5th). We are picking them when they are 3 mos. We are planning to name them; Evaline "Evie" Sage (eeh VAH line), and Montgomery "Monty" Jackson (mont GUM urry). So all in all I like a little bit of both!
Reply:What's your definition of weird? Now, if you're talking about Shanaynay or some a**backwards spelling of a name, then yes. Other than that, so long as it's a name that sounds good and doesn't leave you going, "wtf?", who am I to say anything?
Reply:some names are just plain crazy. i really don't like it when people use wierd spellings of common names...its better to pick a unique name with a traditional spelling.

Reply:I'm not surt why they choose the names they do. They sure aren't thinking about the child though. That poor thing has to go through the rest of their life stuck with mom and dad's bad decision.
Reply:weird names r in fashion
ppl r crazy over weird names they sound cool
Reply:i think it's just because common names are boring...and since it's their baby, they can.
What do you think of these baby names?
Boy - Nicholas Robert
Girl - Becca Lynn
Or should it be Rebecca Lynn?
What do you think of these baby names?
Nicholas Robert - I like it. Both strong names.
I prefer Rebecca Lynn to Becca.
It's nice to see someone opting for something I can spell and pronounce. All the names are good for children and adults and they can be shortened if you want.
Reply:Love the girls name my daughter is called rebecca
Reply:not my cup of tea
Reply:Rebecca Lynn is cute, so much nicer than alot of the goofy crap people come up with these days...
Reply:I prefer Robert Nicholas and definitely Rebecca Lynn
Reply:For the boy name, It is just fine, Sounds like an actors name, or he could be an actor.
Rebecca Lynn is a beautiful name for a girl.
Reply:i think rebecca lynn sound nicer than becca lynn..
nicholas robert is nice.. as long as you r happy with ur childrens name u should go for it.. plus..it has no bad meaning afterall..
Reply:Yeah they are nice. Bit average sounding tho.
How about Nate Robert and Trixie Lynn
Reply:i know tons ..i mean like 40 becca lynn
Reply:Nicholas Robert is nice.
Rebecca Lynn or Becky Lynn
Reply:boring, boring, boring. Doesn't everyone already have these names? And if you insist, please use Rebecca as her proper name.
Reply:I think they are nice. However I would suggest using Rebecca Lynn on the birth certificate,. You then can always call her Becca for short. I think she would appreciate that when she is an adult
Reply:Nicholas Robert is perfect and i think it should be Rebecca Lynn.
Reply:They're both good names, yes give the name Rebecca but shorten it to Becca.
Reply:I'd go for Rebecca over Becca as you can still call her Becca as a nickname.
I'm not so sure about Nicholas - what about Andrew for a similar older style of name?
Reply:Rebecca Lynn is very pretty.Nicholas is my husband's name but it got shortened to Nicky as a child and then Nick as an adult.
Reply:Rebecca Lynn
Reply:I like Rebekah Lynn and Nicolas James
Reply:rebecca lyn
but nicholas robert isn't sooooo cute but i guess it's your child and you get to decide!!!
Reply:daawww...theyre sweet!
becca lynn i rekon
or you could try one of these (just to joke with your partner)
spud, checkers, edweena, chips, rocko....
Reply:Ummm...rebecca seems too common and older, my grandma's name is rebecca, you should try to come up with something not so common. Nicholas Robert is a cool generic name as well, i think you should dig a little deeper for a babies name.
Reply:I think both names r really nice and flows well. and I vote for sticking with just Becca, not Rebecca
Reply:i think there nice
Reply:Great and I think it should be Rebecca Lynn..
Joy to you!!!
Reply:I think Rebecca Lynn is a good name, you can call her becca as a nick name.
Reply:I like Rebecca Lynn better than Becca Lynn, but its really about what you like. Rebecca Lynn is my sisters name. I like Nicholas Robert, it sounds regal. (both Robert and Nicholas (though a different spelling) are family names, so I may have a bias.)
I do have to say, its refreshing to see a father (or future father) in an area like baby names.
Reply:Im not a fan of the boy name but if you like it then go for it. As for the girl i like Becca Lynn

Reply:ambu for a girl and ambar for a boy.ambar means sky and ambu means sea/water. sea and sky are reflections of each other in a spiritual way and are always looking at each other etc. the sky is always reflected in the water/sea. water comes for the sky in clouds and is evaporated back into the clouds in the sky. I think this symbolises they are always going to be one but yet are so versatile and different at the same time.
hope that makes sense and helps in your quest

What do you think about my baby names?
Piper Jane
Oliver (Ollie) Daniel
Adam Daniel
Addisyn McCall (Family Name)
What do you think about my baby names?
Adam Daniel %26amp; Addison McCall are cute.
Reply:I really like the name Piper but Jane is so plain that I'd rather see another middle name.
I like Oliver Daniel and I like Adam too but it doesn't flow as well with Daniel. I like Addisyn McCall real well especially since it's a family name but I wouldn't spell Addisyn like that -- I understand you are looking for something unique but people will constanly spell it wrong and that will bug you to no end.
Reply:Piper sounds a little bit odd...
but Addisyn is a very pretty name I think.
Is it for a boy or a girl? also, I always believe it is best to go with your instinct and be original as possible. if the name suits the character of the child (even though he/she is still in the womb) then its a good idea. Unique, realistic, and having a special meaning to the parents, family, etc.
Reply:I like all of them except for Adam Daniel. All of your other names are really original and great combinations. I love McCall! Addyson - did you think about spelling it that way? My husband's family includes "y"s in almost all of their names. My husband's name is Dustyn. You could do Pyper too....but great names. Sorry for straying off subject!

How did you pick your babies name?
I want a name other than the same names that are in every single list on every baby name website. How did you find your baby's name and are there any good baby naming sites that offer something a bit different. Also we're from Ireland so would be fairly keen on an Irishy name but will accept any suggestions! Thanks.
How did you pick your babies name?
Try this website - it has fantastic list, and you can chose catergories for unique, beautiful names =]
http://www.alternativebabynames.com/
and this website is baby names of ireland, so there all irish names :)
http://www.babynamesofireland.com
Reply:My son is name after my fiance (his father), my son and fiance name is Colin.
If you want something different and not the same ole names in every baby name web sites or books, you should try making up names that you think are cute.
I'm sort of like you I want my children names to be different, that's why when I have more children I want to name them something different but cute.
Well to me Irish names are being use alot, not only in Ireland. Maybe you should look at names that come from different countries like:
Malaysia:
Girls:
Jamilah
Amira
Suraya
Hawaii:
Girls:
Keona
Leilani
Boys:
Kai
Keanu
Arabic:
Girls:
Amina
Ayisha
Samirah
Boys:
Jamal
Kamil
Khalil
.......ETC.
But if you wanted to name your child a Irish name, I suggest you pick a name and put a lil twist to it.
Good Luck!
Reply:I think that using family names, or traditional names as middle names are great, because they keep a sense of family pride and traditional, whilst leaving room for something really nice and individual as the first name.
For example, the traditional Irish name could be the middle name, maybe even the name of a relative, or your own name could be used.
And the first name could be something more out there and individual.
Just an idea, hope this helped.
Reply:If you have a vague idea of the area you'd like to head, for you that would be a narrower piece of "Irish names", such as Irish names with particular sound or set of meanings, often you may not know who your baby really is until they are born.
Search Irish celebrities or something like that, see if anything catches your eye.
Reply:Our Daughters:
Grace Jamie:
We both love the name Grace, which comes from the Latin; Gracia meaning God's favor. Jamie because it's my first name and we wanted to use it.
Rome Taylor:
My husband proposed to me in Rome, Italy so it's special to us. My niece Sophia picked Taylor for a middle name, after the singer Taylor Swift.
Jaida Miley:
I love the name Jade, but I wanted to make it slightly unique. Jada came out of that, but we did think it may be pronouced wrong so added the extra i. As for Miley, another niece of mine chose Miley, after the singer/actress Miley Cyrus.
I love the Irish Names (girls):
Niamh
Aoife
Caoimhe
Orlaith
But sadly my husband isn't too keen on them!
Reply:I never had any kids, but this is my advice (this is what I would do):
First of all, check the names you like best. Think of some time when you heard (or read) a name and thought,'Wow what a nice name!'
Then go on the internet and check their meaning.
Also remember to choose a name that goes well with the surname.

My husband and I recently figured out that I am having QUINTUPLETS.

We want the names to be traditional and NORMAL.
And no rhyming names or names that start with the same letters, or the letters C and J, because of our other children.
Please help us!

My fav names are for girls, Martina, kiera, Julia, Raven and Yasmine.
For boys i like, Matthew, Dave, Nathan, Damien, kyle and Trevor.
Hope it will help you to decide and am sure you will be a wonderfull family!
Reply:Names are important to people, the help define them. They should MEAN something.
Look at history and look for people you admire. Look for qualities you want your children to have.
Who was brave and strong? Who was loyal and honest? Who was kind and intelligent?
I am a great fan of naming children after saints and heros for that reason.
For goodness sake DON'T name them after movie stars or sports stars or singers! UGH!
My favorite girls name is Victoria, though Elizabeth, Leslie, Kathleen, Susan, Joan, and Barbara are good ones.
Charles Martel is a hero of mine, Martin Luther King was a great man too. Alexander, Michael, Travis,
In the 19th Century there was a trend of naming kids things like "George Washington Carver" or "Andrew Jackson Clay" or "Sam Houston Jones". Personally I like the ring to those names, they tell you exactly where you stand.
Is Kozman a Polish name? If so get a book on Polish history, find someone your kid will be proud to be named after. John Paul Kozman has a nice ring to it.

My husband and I recently figured out that I am having QUINTUPLETS.
I have already had twins, so this will be seven kids!
I need help with the names.
They say it is four girls and a boy.
I have two twin boys that are 2.
Their names are Connor Daniel and Jason Andrew.
We want the names to be traditional and NORMAL.
And no rhyming names or names that start with the same letters, or the letters C and J, because of our other children.
Please help us!
(by the way, our last name is Kozman, so no K's either please)
I need some help for my babies' names?!?
Emma, Grace, Briana, Sandra and Michael
