What do you think of these baby names?

Indiana for a boy and Stella for a girl.

I thought of them because its the film we were watching and the drink that we were drinking. Good arent they?

What do you think of these baby names?
I will warn you now. that if you name your son Indiana, your child will in doubt be made fun of. My little brother was named after Indiana Jones... and he was made fun of for most of his life and he is 19 now. we now call him by his middle name Joshua. he is actually saving up to legally change his name to joshua micheal so he can now have a normal name...
Reply:if you like them then they are good, but consider the child in what ever name you decide. it has to live with that name for the rest of it's life (unless they change it of course) think about what it would sound like an old person having that name. if you still like it then, then go for it, it's your choice after all.

good luck
Reply:Good Lord No

Stella 'the Fella' - she will kill you after years of torment from the skool yard.

Indiana - come on - have you been reading the TV times for inspiration.

Try looking in other places, family tree, name books, people who have inspired you through life, etc
Reply:Both too Hollywood for my tastes. You may be too young to remember "Stella" from "A Streetcar Named Desire" or even from Sienfield. But the films (Indiana Jones %26amp; Streetcar) are the first things that come to my mind... Really, though, why would you want to name your own child after a movie or a beverage?
Reply:Indiana sounds more like a girl's name to me - but if Indiana Jones can get away with using it then I suppose it would be okay. Stella is pretty - but to be named after Stella Artois lager might be a bit embarrassing. Chardonnay is a bit classier. lol. :-)
Reply:Indiana is a girls name and stella is associated with lager.Don't be pretentious and give them names that won't be a burden to them all their lives.Imagine if you son grow to 6ft 6inches and was called Indiana.
Reply:Indiana...definetely different. I like it, but it sounds a little feminine. But maybe that doesnt matter because ahley and Hayden sound feminine but are also boys names.

Stella..dont really like it that much.
Reply:don't name the boy indiana they'll call him indiana jones and stella... haven't you ever seen that terrible seinfeld episode STELLAAAA jeez http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TGfdpnsIy... there that will make you hate the name!
Reply:In year 8 we had a new kid in the year level.

We hadnt met him/her yet but found out name was Indiana.

EVERYONE expected a girl, there was no doubt.

It was a boy!

*indiana is a girls name!*

But thosw reasons arent good..
Reply:Indiana i do not like that much for a boy. stella is pretty tho, it's very classy and timeless. i like the name Connor for a boy
Reply:well for a boy i like Matt and for a girl i like Allyson

but Stella for a girl is good but not Indiana for a boy
Reply:You have to think of what the child will think of it when it's in its teens twenties etc.

Indiana - no way...would probably get teased and called Diana!

Stella - old-fashioned.

Plain names never go out of date.
Reply:Indiana Not So Good.

Stella Is Gorgeous.

But They Arent Very Original.

"How Stella Got Her Groove Back" and "Indiana Jones"
Reply:No, I wouldn't name them that, not that there bad names, but maybe Isabella or Elizabeth for a girl, and Collin or William for boy.
Reply:Indiana for a boy! poor chap he's going to cop a lot of bullying, don't you like children? Stella means 'stars', but she won't thank you for naming her after a Chav drink tho!
Reply:I love them both.

Indiana is very unique and Stella is very feminine,

I LOVE THEM!
Reply:Love love love these names. So cool. Stella is beautiful and girlie. Indiana is an awesome name. Very strong and masculine.
Reply:Indiana is original but odd. i kinda like it. but Stella i like that name. :)
Reply:i dont like indiana, although stella is my grandmas and aunts name, so i like them.

jordyn is my favorite girls name
Reply:2 be honest, i like stella:), but not indiana:(
Reply:Oh Stella is a wonderful name for a girl, but personally i wouldnt want to be walking around with the name Indiana
Reply:I dont like Stella, thats my grandmothers name, only in my opinion, its kind of old fashion, ultimitly its your choice :)
Reply:Stella yes

Indiana - no

How about 'Jude' for a boy, like the rather gorgeous film star 'Jude Law'. Fab' name.
Reply:I think thats a really good name for a gril or you can have sarha
Reply:I actually like Indiana for a boy...

And Stella is very soft! =)
Reply:Instead of Indiana but sticking to the theme of what you were watching what about Harrison for a boy?
Reply:ffs why do people come up with the most retarded names for babies on here, you name your boy after a state and your girl after beer ?
Reply:Stella is okay, but it kind of sounds like someone's grandmother. Please don't name a boy after a state.
Reply:I like them a lot. Indiana is an awesome boys name, and Stella is classic, yet edgy. Good choices!
Reply:Stella is nice. Don't like Indiana though - sorry!
Reply:To be honest, I wouldnt really like them, but that doesnt matter because after all, its up to you!! :-)
