Reply:Congratulations to both of you! However, if you plan to name your baby one of these two names, I would suggest asking for psychiatry gift-certificates for gifts at the baby shower. How about Cassandra for a girl or Archibald for a boy? They're very classic names. For middle names, what about a family name? My middle name is Ross, after my great-grandmother's maiden name.

Reply:I am sorry to say i am not sastified with those names i would prefer for a girl: Ellla, Sophie, Julie, Isabella, or Sara. and for a boy: David, Dustin, Dylan or Drake. Try those. I adore those along with my friends.
Reply:If your name is actually Jackal, and you enjoy running around with that name, perhaps your potential son wouldn't mind as well. However, I'd go with "the second" rather than Junior, simply because Jrs. tend to get stuck with that title rather than the name itself.


As for "housewife" as a name for a girl, I do hope that you weren't serious.


Ask your wife if she has any ideas. Make a list of names that don't disgust you; request that she do the same. Swap lists. Cross off names on her list that disgust you; she can do the same. The two lists your left to work with can be discussed and worked down until you have two potential names that might be more acceptable.

Reply:In your quest for something unique or trendy, please be mindful that your child will have to live it for a long time so don't saddle them with a name they hate or one that obliges them to spell it every time they are giving their name out. One more piece of advice - do a net search on any prospective names - you may not always be aware of the associations - I heard just last week of a new baby girl called Addison, and my first thought was why would you name a child after a disease?
