You can even search by language of origin (Italian, Irish, German, etc.), style (names with beautiful or strong in their meanings, nature names, Biblical names, etc.) or famous namesakes (Presidents, artists or athletes, for instance), besides the normal alphabetical index. ;)





There are even links to related names (and a name translator link on the front page, if, say, you want to name him after your grandfather John, but aren't sure of any other forms), and pronunciation guides for most. Definitely worth checking out.

Reply:We named our son Isaac Jacob (yes, from the Bible), but I liked the name David (my husband didn't). However, for some ideas, I went to Babycenter.com or American baby.com for ideas too. Parents.com is also a good website to look at too. They also let you know the meaning of the name. Good luck!
