Can you help suggest baby names that will go with big sister Ava?

We are expecting our 2nd baby girl in 5 weeks and we can't decide on a name! Our 2 yr old is Ava Grace - we LOVE her name, so it's hard to decide on something that is similarly elegant, sophisticated %26amp; yet still cute for a little girl.





My husband likes Ellie, Emmi, or Ella...I thought Hayley, but then wondered if it's too "cute" to go with Ava?

Reply:Of all the name you listed, I like Hayley the best only I would spell it Hailey it would be easier for her to write.


I don't like Ellie or Emmi at all (sorry father to be). Now I do like Emma but Ellie and Emmi sound to country for me.


Ella is OK A cute name would be Zoe. Then you would have the alphabet from A to Z.





I really like Molly and since Ava's middle name is Grace, you could name this baby Molly Faith.





Now if you would like to stick with the A names,


I really like Amelia Faith. I think Ava and Amelia sound good together. They are both elegant names.

Reply:I am due in July with a baby girl and we are naming her Ava Christene (we also LOVE Ava). Another name we were considering is Emma. It's close to those your husband likes..... but I think Emma goes well with Ava.

I really like the name Emmi, too (and love the spelling)!





Not too fond of Ellie or Ella, probably because they are both a bit over-used. And I'm sorry, but I'm not really keen on the name Hayley, either. It is too cutsie...sounds a bit wishy-washy, to me.

Ellie is a cute nickname for Ella but way too insubstantial as a full name.


Emmi is nice but I don't like this spelling. I prefer Emme.
