I am looking for a list of Biblical Baby Names in other languages?

I am looking for a Biblical baby name but I am tired of the popularity of many Biblical names in the English form. Does anyone know of a website where I can find Biblical Baby Names in other languages?

I am looking for a list of Biblical Baby Names in other languages?

Reply:I suggest you check the link first for a pretty comprehensive list on Biblical names. It includes the obvious ones (Mary, Sarah, John, David etc...), but also tons of attractive Biblical names that aren't commonly in use nowadays. I'm sure there a lots you haven't thought about yet. That said I think you ought to look up for expample the French and Italian forms of common biblical names.

Here are a few examples of standard Bible names in other languages.

John %26gt; Jean, Giovanni, Ivan, Johan, Juan

Luke %26gt; Luc, Luca, Lucas

Matthew %26gt; Mathis, Mads, Mateo, Matvey

Michael %26gt; Michel, Miguel, Mihail

Peter %26gt; Pierre, Pedro, Petras, Piotr

Mary %26gt; Marie, Maria, Marya, Marija

Sarah %26gt; Suri, Sara, Sarai, Sarit

Reply:To follow your reasoning I have the perfect answer.

Just call the baby "Apple" as that features prominently in what ever bible you care to read.

Your baby is one of millions that are born each and every year and your quest tio somehow individualise this kid through outlandish names is futile.

Get real and cocentrate on becoming normal and good parents.

Yours sincerely
