What baby names are you SICK to death of?

If I meet another baby girl named EMMA, Im gonna throw up. Whats the worst name you've ever heard someone give their child?

What baby names are you SICK to death of?
I know exactly what you are talking about. Most of the names on the top 100 list are really beautiful but when every other kid has them they lose their charm. I'm frustrated that the names I picked for my two daughters are moving up the list. Well, their nicknames are. My oldest is named Annabel after the poem by Edgar Allan Poe. I've had this named picked out since I read the poem in high school. Back then it was Brianna, Ashley, Brittany and Kaitlyn. Anna is now #32, which is actually down from previous years. My second daughter is named Mariella. We call her Ella and of course, it's moving on up. It's now #15. Four years ago so many people told me it was too old-fashioned. I liked that not many people had it and now it is one of those names. Now, I understand that while a name may not be popular in one area it is in another and obviously this was the case - I had no idea Ella was as popular as it was and still is. So, I get pretty frustrated when I see how many Annas and Ellas there are in their new school. (We moved)

The worst name for a boy - Homer. Richard Gere named his son that and some other celebrity, too. For a girl - I guess I'm sick of the Sierras and Savannahs. And Cheyenne. But, that's me - I understand that some people love these names. I don't know if I have ever heard of something really horrible for girls - maybe if someone named them Ethel or Bertha but the popularity of some names today does drive me to not like a certain name.
Reply:You asked two questions so I will answer them both.

Names I'm sick of hearing are: Jayden, Jaden, and Aiden. They are really overused.

The worst name I have heard someone give their child was Courvoseiur (the drink) , Candida (means yeast) Vagina (pronounced Va~Geena)

Reply:I'm really sick of the names Madison, Isabella and Grace for girls. It's one thing when there's just a handful of them running around, but when everyone jumps on the bandwagon just gets irritating.

And for boys... have you noticed that half the trendy names are all basically "Aidan" with a different consonant tacked on the front? Braden, Caden, Hayden, Jayden........ can you imagine the confusion of having a classroom full of these names?

And as for the worst name, I know someone who came across a little girl named Windsong..... Wesneuski.
Reply:I work in a children clothing store and here many common and many strange names:

Reply:Isabella!! We just got a couple in our Church and their baby girl is named Isabella. It's waaaaay over-used, especially "Isabell". Honestly, I know at least 10 "Emily's" since this name has been so over-used since like the late 70's! Also I'm sick of Ashley, Courtney, Stephanie (always have had this name along with Brittany confused with my name), Dylan, Michael, Aidan (big one!), Mikayla (another big one!), Mckenzie, Madison (ugh! hate the nick-name "Maddy"), Jennifer (I know at least a dozen), Jessica (same as Jennifer) John, Matthew, Daniel (bro's name), Lindsey, Brittany, Carlie, Sean, Brandon, Jayden.....could go on forever, because there are WAY too many people with these names!!
Reply:I can't stand the names prefaced with LA as in Latisha, LaQuita or the names that are seriously misspelled like KRYS or the ones with apostrophes as in L'trice-Can you imagine trying to bubble in an apostrophe on a SAT test? Punctation is not part of the alphabet...
